Hey all, apologize that i didn’t post for 2 weeks. I had covid and though it was mild doctors adviced to get admitted. I am alright not still healing but nothing serious not that anyone cares🤣.
I will tell you about my covid experience today.
2 weeks back I had a mild fever and cough and as you people know I am i introvert didn’t go out for a month so I thought is normal fever and didn’t take tension and stress later my parents also got fever which worried me little bit.
I took paracetamol but didn’t decrease the cough was getting worse by the day I was not able to talk 2 full sentences without breaking due to my breathlessness. Couldn’t play any of my games because I felt like I had muscle pain and at night body would feel like I am being compressed and pains a lot.
So now things were getting bad and parents feared and went to doctor even though I didn’t like it because I am a guy who don’t take much medicine unless it’s necessary and the doctor which my parents took didn’t actually have any big score he was just recommended by our neighborhoods.
The doctor was not a typical one I just felt odd something in my gut told it’s wrong but we went for treatment and there was a huge queue and doctor didn’t keep any methods for patients to follow social distancing which was odd and as soon as he saw all 3 of us he told it’s covid without taking any tests like literally none and started prescribing medicine which was just antibiotics and no antiviral
My cough was getting worse then he told to take a covid test which was positive then also he didn’t give any antiviral drug just a normal cough syrup.
When things took very bad turn as I couldn’t breathe he told us to admit in BBMP care which is not good in my country
The BBMP people took 6 hours to arrange me a bed and according to them I was all good so they sent me to a care center which should be actually called as shit hole.
There were no new medication given and when I reached then the oxygen saturation was 92 but by the night it dropped to 80 and the BBMP people told i was recovering as when i joined it was 72. Those people took the reading also wrong.
I was fighting to get out of there but they didn’t let me discharge giving all nonsense reasons my friends were helping me out to get me out of there by contacting all there contact from police to people in war room and next day evening i was able to come out of that place and get admitted to a good hospital (sakra world hospital) where it costs more but the treatment was 1st class I felt like I was in resort then in hospital.
The doctors took very good care, food was also great way better then the BBMP one, I had a good roomate who was discharged few days after I joined but the treatment was so helpful 3 days after me joining the fever and cold went off. Only my brethelessnes was there because my lungs were infected and it still healing but to come out of oxygen mask it took another 4 days and then when my saturation was 97 and 98 they discharged me.
I still do the excersize and lungs and not back to normal but all in all I am good now.
Note to people in Karnataka don’t use the BBMP because my experience was bad with them and things could have arrived easily for me if they were little serious on what they do.
I was staying inside home and still got covid so guys please don’t ignore any symptoms even if u took the precautions get help as soon as possible because I made a mistake of waiting and spoiled my health you please solve it in early stages itself is easy and painless when u treat it in early stages and please go to a good hospital.
Stay home stay safe be careful get tested even if u don’t have symptoms.
